Hi

I'm looking for assistance with FS2000 Pro. I'm trying to fly Concorde (OK
in at the deep end as no previous experience!). Can get it off the ground,
but then at about 300 or 400 mph I get an overspeed alert. I've tried changing
the nose position, and also following the Concorde flight guidelines in the
manual. I also have the offical sim handbook but no clues. Any ideas? TIA,
Steve

You are probably too low to fly that fast.

Even subsonic planes like the default Boeings have to wait until they get
near cruise altitude to travel at maximum speed. The air at low altitudes is
too dense to flow around the plane at high speeds. Even the high perfomance
military fighters have lower maximum speeds near the ground and burn a lot
more fuel achiving and maintaining the high speeds down low.
