Parol Workshops Sunday, 12/8 and Simbang Gabi mass, Sunday 12/15

Hello everyone!

The joint Simbang Gabi committee of St. Therese and St. Joseph are hard at work coordinating our celebration that will be held on Sunday, December 15 at the 11:00 a.m. mass.  You know there will be a lot of good food and desserts to be shared at the salo-salo following our Advent mass. Please invite your friends and family to celebrate with us. 

If you would like to be involved, please reach out to either Roger Rogelio, Mercy Lazo or I. We can use more singers to join the Shades of Praise choir (all music/lyrics will be provided), help with setting up and serving food at the salo-salo and help with the parol workshop. 

In preparation of Simbang Gabi, there will be paról workshops held on December 8:

St. Joseph after the 9 a.m. mass (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) - children’s paról-making session

St. Therese after the 11 a.m. mass (12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.) - traditional bamboo paról-making workshop 

Come one! Come all! All members of our Parish Family are invited to attend either or both workshops to learn more about Simbang Gabi and to make your own unique paról. All materials will be provided with friendly folks from both committees there to help. Parent participation with young children encouraged as glue and cutting of paper will be involved.
