Set up at 10:00 am - help needed this morning for Simbang Gabi

Good morning everyone! We will need help with setting up Simbang Gabi both in the church and social hall for the Salu- Salo this morning before mass starts.
Things to do:
Bring up Simbang Gabi supply tub from basement.
Bring up bamboo parol stickers from basement.
Tables covered with clothes and centerpieces
Setting out the chafing dishes and filling with water. Lighting the sterno.
Carry in the pans of food when they arrive.
Filling up the water and punch dispensers. Make the punch.
Prep the dessert table.
Set out plates, napkins, forks.
Set out serving utensils.
Hang five parols from choir loft.
Set out the vases/ holders for parol sticks.

Dear Simbang Gabi beautiful people,
We are sorry that we have not been available the last few years to help out with anything. Our hope is to be more involved next time. See you at Mass, but unfortunately, we need to leave before salu-salo. We hope you get a lot of helping hands today. Many thanks for all that you are doing.

Tables were not set up in the social hall as requested. We need all hands on deck to put tables and chairs out.

Hello, SG Kapamilya,
Kumusta? I hope you were able to get some rest from all the prep and celebration of our Pinoy Advent tradition of Simbang Gabi!!! After lay presiding at both masses I have a better sense of what priests go through during weekend liturgical celebrations.
I'm so, so appreciative of what each of YOU did to pull this year's celebration!!! I'm sure you heard people's appreciation of this very successful celebration!!! I want you to know how much I truly, truly appreciate each and everyone of YOU!!! The past few years have been very challenging - life, in general - but also in our spiritual family. Somehow, last Sunday's celebration (for me) was a real celebration of who we are, what we bring and how receptive our community is.
Kudos to Jen M, Josie M and Gloria O and their families for stepping in to cover all fronts and bring this celebration to life!!! Let's continue to spread the good news and invite folx to our spiritual community! As Fr.Phil said some Sundays ago: let the secret out! let the secret be known of this spiritual family in the Madrona neighborhood that is a source of love, joy and life!
Again, Dios ti ag-ngina (Ilokano meaning Thank you!)

I hope your holidays were not too hectic!
I’m reaching out to set a date for our debrief and plan for 2025. I was thinking of having a potluck lunch at the parish center after the 11 am service. OR if you want to experience the facilities at our north campus (St. Joe’s) - do let me know and I”ll try to reach out for the availability of space there.
