Good morning, Simbang Gabi brothers and sisters...

My family and I would like to seek your prayers for protection and strength---we are thankful a young student Filipina-American is now found safe and alive days after she disappeared having been caught amidst a military encounter in one of our island provinces in the Philippines: Mindoro...sadly, five indigenous fatalities have been reported: 3 indigenous Mangyan Iraya children and 2 other student researchers...Chantal Anicoche was living with this indigenous community as one of the researchers...we continue to pray that she is given safe passage to return home, and that such acts of war cease and spare our peaceful indigenous folks in the provinces.
