Magandang gabi, SG fam,
First off, I want to welcome Jason and Kathleen to this group. I, together with Jen & Dave, met them during social hour after the 11 am service a few Sundays ago.
How is everyone doing?
After consultations, it was decided that we will forego with the bake sale this year. There’s been some discussions about doing a parol workshop at both campuses: south (St. T’s) and north (St. Joe’s)
Maybe we can meet:
Between masses on SUN, 10/20 (approx. 10 AM)
Between masses on SUN, 10/27 (approx. 10 AM)
After 11 am mass on SUN, 10/27
Please let me know what time/date works best for you.
Roger & Eloisa, please extend this invite to the rest of the FilAm folks at our north campus if they are not in the SG google groups.
Please spread the word that our SG liturgy will be Sunday, 12/15 at the 11 am mass. Fr. Mike Bayard is presiding, I’m lay presiding/preaching. Orlando is liaising with Kent and Shades for inclusive music. Please start thinking about liturgical roles: ushers, gift bearers, readers (2), and Eucharistic ministers. Also we will need reminders for the bulletin, flyers and social media.
Last but not the least, I’m requesting someone to please step in as lead or maybe co-leads for this wonderful tradition of ours. I am back in school and realize that I have too much on my plate these days. Please, please consider this request!!! I will still be helping out but not in a lead capacity.

Montoyas are free to meet between the masses on either days.

I’m going to be in NYC this weekend—sorry to miss. BUT I was recently roped into the liturgy committee and met with Nicole yesterday. We were considering a theme for Advent this year: “Traditions!”
SG fits right in with this theme—but would love any other ideas on how to activate this theme on our SG Sunday.
