Hello,
We perform time-lapse calcium imaging in awake
mice (expressing GCaMP6 in astrocytes, with no structural marker for astrocytes and dendrites labeled with tdtomato) with atleast 20-25 microm volume been
imaged and imaging performed over days. I was wondering whether anyone has used SIMA
for analyzing calcium activity in astrocytic processes (especially microdomains where calcium activity occurs in small microm scale regions in the processes).
Many thanks,
Padmashri

Hi Padmashri,
I'm not personally aware of anyone who has used this package for imaging astrocytic processes. However, I am aware that the package has been used for imaging both axonal and dendritic processes of neurons.
Best,
Patrick
