I found a Silvertone lap steel guitar on consignment for $375 at a
guitar shop while visiting my brother's college town. I've been
researching online, and I'm pretty sure it's a 1316 from around 1947
or 1948. I posted some pictures of the guitar here:

It's in pretty good condition, and was wondering if anyone knew a
little more about the guitar. I can't find any serial numbers or
additional markings, but I wanted to know if the model was for sure a
1316 and a possible dollar value. Any history on the model or era
would be great as well. Based on my research I think somewhere around
$300 seems correct.

Thanks!

p.s. I'm leaving town tomorrow afternoon so if you have any info let
me know asap!

It's actually a 1319. Pretty much the same as a 1316, just a slightly
different paint scheme and fretboard.

Here's the entire 1949 Silvertone Lap Steel Lineup:

and a timeline:

Hope this helps.
