SilverStripe3.0 video problem

I have problem when i try to set video on my page, getting error:  

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\xampp\htdocs\SilverStripe-cms-v3.0.0\framework\api\RestfulService.php on line 161

Do i have to install some plugins or modules in ss3 for uploading video and images?

Is this when you're inserting a video from youtube/vimeo?
It seems you need to install http://nz.php.net/manual/en/book.curl.php

Devs - is this requirement checked in the PHP installer and a warning/error presented if not detected?

Yes i have problem when i try to insert link from youtube or vimeo.
 
When i directly upload video to assets/uploads then i cannot see file ,and cannot publish file. 
 
Maybe i'm damp or what ever but i don't know what to do with this link http://nz.php.net/manual/en/book.curl.php - what-where to change?

Some  other solutions?

You have to install the curl library to you dev environment. Are you using one of the AMP stack packages?

Look up installing/adding the curl extension for PHP.

The SilverStripe Core Dev group is a place for the community to discuss core architecture and interface.
Bugs should be reported to open.silverstripe.org. Otherwise we'll flood this mailinglist with one sentence q&a like this :/
