Is 2.3 being maintained in the run up to 2.4?

Hi

First apologies if this has been covered.

From what I can tell its all hands on for pushing to a stable release
of 2.4.

My question is what is happening with maintenance of the 2.3 branch? I
seem to recall (can't remember where) that it has been said that there
will not be a 2.3.4 release, but is there any bug fixing going on, if
so is it recommended to use 2.3 trunk in production to keep up to date
with these?

Or are we on our own so to speak until 2.4 is ready?
