Hi

I have a site with 4000+ pages. My local copy works fine (only 10
pages), and the server copy also works fine, except that I can not
save any pages in the CMS.

* I can save pages programmatically (e.g. writeToStage, etc....)
* I can load CMS
* both Save and Save and Publish do not work
* server gives no response at all, no errors, nothing. When I copy
the url with parameters into a long get string and paste into new tab
I also get a completely unresponsive server, all other server requests
work fine!
* when I place a "die" statement on the first line of the EditForm in
LeftAndMain (which is the form that saves the page, nothing happens,
it seems the code never reaches that far!)
* other forms seem to work fine
* upped memory to 996M, just to see what that would do - did not do much ;-)
* site is running fast, mysql is not complaining, etc...
* I also have 5000 assets

This is something very strange.

I am running 2.3.5 and also tried 2.3 branches.

can anyone help? I dont understand....

Nicolaas

Do you have any segfaults in the apache log?
Any custom mod_rewrite or Director rules or installed modules?

no mod_rewrite, but I was wondering about Director rules. Having said
that, it does work locally (with just ten pages). One person suggested
the request did not actually reach the server properly...
