SilverStripe 2.5.0 Release Announcement

SilverStripe 2.5.0 has been released.

This release includes many un-released bugfixes, patches, and minor enhancements and improvements that were made since the most recent 2.x release (2.4.13) on 26 September 2013. This will be the final release on the 2.x line.

Please note that this release is being published warranty free and without support. Users who are still running on 2.x should upgrade to the latest supported version 3.5.3 in order to avoid security risk.

To get setup, you can install this using composer (as below):


    composer create-project silverstripe/installer ./ss25 2.5.0
