Working on adding ads to the splash page using hosted OpenX.

Modified /usr/local/htdocs/sl/splash_ads.tmpl by replacing the
SilverLining OpenX javascript with the code generated in my hosted
OpenX account

Modified /usr/local/htdocs/sl/splash.tmpl by removing
[PROCESS our_pledge.tmpl]
[PROCESS footer.tmpl]
to ensure no conflicts with space

Modified /SL-CP/conf/
cp_hosts_allow.txt
cp_sslhosts_allow.txt
to include d1.openx.org

When loading the CP page in a browser in FF, I see "transferring data
from d1.openx.org... at the bottom, but no ads appear.

Do I need to add the OpenX url's somewhere else?

Any suggestions?

Add d1.openx.org to conf/hosts_allow.txt if I recall correctly.

You're basically adding the domain to the walled garden. You'll have
to add any domains which are for the click through also. Kind of a
pain, but ensures the walled garden feature does what it should.

Sorry, I missed that you already did that. Restart the server with
'killall httpd' and the iptables rules will be flushed and a new
walled garden created.

You have to add
d1.openx.org
c3.openx.org
to cp_hosts_allow.txt

On another note, I'd like to create zones on the CP pages but I have
to have a website added first. What URL on the CP do I use that OpenX
can see?

Hmmm, you probably would need to use the WAN ip of the device, and
possibly map a domain name to it. I'm not that familiar with OpenX
hosted, so I can't say for sure.

I have an issue where ads are not being displayed consistently. I can
refresh the page (F5) and the ads will show up randomly at best and in
some cases 1 in 20 refreshes.

On the iPhone they are not being displayed at all.....

Any ideas?
