UFT OR QTP Automation Tester
Reston, Dallas or Pontiac Locations
Contract
Must Have:
5+ years of experience working for large corporation in a software testing and/or quality assurance role (preferably at the enterprise level)
3+ years of Quick Test Pro (QTP)/UFT experience
2+ years of hands on experience in full lifecycle implementation, customization and execution activities
Extensive experience designing and developing custom test automation frameworks
Strong development skills in VBScript
Strong Working knowledge of SQL (executing queries and stored procedures), XML.
Strong working experience in a Unix environment (Batch Job execution, SFTP, Unix automation)
Experience working with Client/Server, Web, SOA/Web Services technologies.
Experience with both front end and backend testing
Proficiency in standard suite of office productivity tools like Microsoft Office products, web browsers and file systems
Hands on experience on: UFT/QTP, ALM/QC, SQL, Unix and BPT(business process testing). Previously experience in Banking and/or Financial domain.
• Under minimal direction, utilizing an appropriate testing framework, develops automated test scripts
• Must have a good experience on BPT automation framework
• Must have Strong VB scripting skills
• Must have Strong Database testing(SQL) skills
• Ability to write reusable functions/components using QTP and VB script
• Must have the ability to debug the scripts written by others
• Analyze test results and document observations
• Knowledge of test automation best practices and industry standards
Nice to Have:
Experience in working with Selenium, SOA"
Experience in designing and developing applications using C++/C#/Java
Experience with and good understanding of version control systems (CVS, SVN, Git)
