Hello All,

I want to automate silverlight application. What is the best way to do it? I read this blogs and came to conclusion that Selenium RC is good option.I have some questions:

1) Can we use Selenium IDE to record scripts? or do we have to use Selenium RC to write down the scripts?
2) Can we use C# code to write down the scripts in RC?
3) How does exactly Selenium RC work with Silverlight application?

Please send me the suggestions as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Neha

1) No, Silverlight is a black box
2) Yes
3) It's a little bit tricky. It's possible to create a bridge between DOM and SL to make method calls, with some restrictions. I did it once and it worked with SL 3 and 4. Take a peek here: https://code.google.com/p/silverlight-selenium/wiki/Fixtures

Good luck

Not that I'm aware of. Again: test Silverlight with Selenium is a hack, so good luck :)
