Hey all,
Here are some Updates:)
1.We pitched to RSVP today. They are quite interested in helping out with the project except that we need to provide them with more processed financial data and a detailed operational plan for the pilot test. They are quite critical about the rationale of the pilot test so we have to brush up the details asap. we will be meeting up next Thursday(29 May) to present to them again.
2. We have support from Kampong Glam CC to hold our pilot test there. Will be recce-ing the place soon.
3. We need a team meeting ASAP to get everyone on the same page about the pilot test. Tentatively the meeting is on
Date: Next Monday (26 May)
Time: 6pm
Venue: Scape.
Please reply attendance! In preparation for this meeting, I need all of you to
-watch the video I posted on whatsapp, brainstorm the assumptions etc. based on the framework in the video.

For Calvin and Desmond,
Since you two have the most accounting knowledge, I need both of you to work out the processed financial data using what Tam already done up. Check if the calculations are right. I need the breakeven quantity, breakeven time using the most optimistic and pessimistic estimates on cost and visit rate, number of required customer per day, total first year cost to start up (FC+VC). If there are uncertainty about funding or sponsorship then do up calculation for the different possibilities. Etc etc standard financial figures needed in business plans. These are crucial for our coming meeting with RSVP.
Deadline: Tuesday 6pm

For Nic and Saloni and me,
I need you two to brainstorm with me on the operational details of the pilot test.
Deadline: Sunday 6pm.
These will be discussed during the Monday meeting. Some issues to consider during ur brainstorming:
• RSVP don't want a full day pilot test. So how many sessions should we have each day over the period of 2 weeks (how many hours per session), why. What time periods do we want to test? Show me a rough overall event schedule
• Bear in mind the rationale of the pilot test. Is this pilot test absolutely necessary? RSVP says that they already have data about most popular IT talks and popular food by SCs. So what other purpose does our pilot test serve?
• We will be integrating F&B with IT learning in CK. So we will be simulating this in the pilot test. How can we integration them? I need detailed examples, layout diagrams if necessary
• What are the targets for the pilot test? How do we plan to market our pilot test to reach out to the SCs? Are with reaching out to our segmented target group through these marketing channels?
• Rough timeline for actual day implementation for pilot test. Need to include role played by each volunteer, non-volunteer. Everyone should have something to do at every point.
• Are we going to have a menu of food choice for seniors to choose from each day? How to predict the order then? Or is it better to just have one fixed food choice each day?
• Predicted budget for pilot test
