I am using the SilverDox DocumentViewer. I am trying to use RotateClockwise() and RotateCounterClockwise() but it rotates all pages. I need to be able to rotate single pages. How can I best do this?

If you wish to rotate individual pages, it is best to use PDFNet to do this on the source document (PDF. etc.) before conversion to .xod.

Thanks James. When converting the PDF to an XOD, I don't know when a page or two might be 180 degrees off. The user has to view it first. For scanned documents, this is somewhat common and might be one page amongst 10 other pages, for instance. So I can't just rotate the whole file being viewed. Any chance there will be updates to the DocumentViewer?

The best way to do this would be to have the SilverDox user mark pages that they want rotated, and then send that information back to the server and re-convert the original document. The other option would be to use the Document class to write an entirely custom viewer, but this would be a significant amount of work.

We are striving for an interactive UI, which is why we choose PDFTron and the SilverDox tooling to begin with. I agree, I would like to avoid re-creating the DocumentViewer control if at all possible (I started to because of some "minor" short-comings but stopped due to the complexity and minor gains I was hoping to achieve). I am already working around using the Thumbnail viewer to support thumbnails the way that I am required to (ability to move pages, delete pages, etc all interactively).
It seems like this might not be "too" difficult of an enhancement to the DocumentViewer. Any possibility that might happen? Is there somewhere/someone I can/should suggest that to? I would love for the DocumentViewer control code to be released so these types of enhancements could be made both to the DocumentViewer and Thumbnail viewer, which I can't even use now due to the reasons above.
I love the product as a whole but just need a few additional tweaks. Any ideas/suggestions?
