Thanks Muster, for taking out your personal time, to acknowledge all of us.

I strongly believe there should be every quarter internal audit and followed by external audit once a year. Doing audit doesn't mean not believing or trusting association. This activity is part of basic principle of accounting.

Dear SCAOWA team,
It has been observed that there is no update on painting expense so far even though the overall painting work had completed in July 2018 itself. It’s been close to a year and there is no final painting expense update shared with residents yet! It is again disappointing to see that it is not part of upcoming AGBM (30 June 2019) also (there is no overall expenditure summary of FY 2018-19 as well).

I’d like to know:

1) How much amount had been collected in 4 installments over a period of year?
2) How much interest we had earned from all the installments by means of FD?
3) How many were/are defaulters and late payment amount?
4) How much we had paid for final bill?
5) How much amount is left, if any and how/where it is utilized?
6) Kindly confirm that all the laid down accounting norms have been followed scrupulously while releasing
payments for the painting activity and whether all the payments made to vendor are backed by pucca bills.
As this painting exercise involved huge amount of ~36 lacs; the separate audit should have been conducted
for the same.

This was the first biggest activity undertaken by association involving ~36 lacs rupees. We are not even aware
of final report of this activity even after a year and we are marching towards Cauvery connection which involves
5-6 times more money involved? If this is the case with painting charges, what to expect from current activity?

Kindly ensure the sharing of Painting expense summary and details in the upcoming AGBM as it’s already been due for a year now.
