CDT in the Burros

If you didn't know, there is a new reroute of the CDT from Jack's Peak parking lot going south. It's not signed, but it is showing up on the digital maps I looked at like MTBProject and Trailforks. It's about 2 miles, with a nice view. Thanks to the volunteers from the CDTC who built it, and thanks to anyone who maintained the old trail. 20260328_110925.jpg

Dan's right, this is an amazing trail that a handful of locals have already been riding.  The CDTC doesn't quite consider this fully opened yet, but it functionally is open.  When returning northbound to the TH, it's hard to even take the old trail anymore because you naturally find yourself on the new trail.  Great improvement to our local trail system.
