Hope you are well:) Perhaps this is an event you'd be interested in attending and/or forwarding to those who could use some love? Big hugs all around!
Agape means Love. We live in a world overwhelmed with divisiveness, pain, and confusion....Now more than ever, it is time to come together in the Spirit of Love, Good Food, Laughter, Inclusiveness, and Inner Peace.
Introducing the 1st of a series of monthly Agape Gatherings:
What: Agape Meal and Movie
Vegetarian Main Courses are provided: please bring sides, drinks, or meat dishes if you like:)
When: Sunday, Oct. 15th
12:30 Potluck Meal
1:30-2:45 Movie Screening of "The Shadow Effect"
Where: Fellowship Hall @1915 N. Swan St. Silver City
(park in the parking lot of 1st Presbyterian Church and come in the side door on 20th st.)
Who: The community of Silver City and visiting friends. No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!
Why: To get to know your neighbors and come together in a spirit of love, good food, laughter, inclusiveness, and inner peace
Beneficiary: El Refugio, Silver City's domestic violence shelter. October is domestic violence awareness month. Please bring basic needs: clothes, canned goods, toiletries, books, art supplies, games/puzzles, etc.....
Let's make it a monthly date! Agape meal followed by: open mics, theatre performances, workshops, compelling speakers, board games, inspirational movies, stand up comedy, etc... there is some point of connection for everyone. Let us come together in the Spirit of Love.
