Rev. Bill Lyons and Sr. Joan Brown visiting 3/19 and 3/20

Hi Everyone,

Very exciting news!

Rev. Dr. Bill Lyons, the Southwest Conference of UCC Designated Conference Minister is visiting our congregation this Sunday, 3/19.  He will join us for our 1:30 service, led by Rev. Tina Squire.

Then after service, we are all invited to join Sister Joan Brown from New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light for a showing of the movie, "Before the Flood" and a light dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  There is no charge, and no donation required, they are expecting up to 12 of us and have plenty of room and food.

Monday 3/20 at noon, we will have some one on one time with Joan in the small room at the Lotus Center where she will share with us what NMIPL is up to, and also hear Silver City needs.  

Please invite your friends of all faiths to the noon Monday meeting, especially folks who are concerned about our environment.  

The Lotus Center appreciates donations to keep the lights on, and asks that we enter softly as there will be a yoga class in progress.
