Hi to all,
These are the books I've read recently. I'm open to comments on the
authors work and any suggestions/concerns/ideas that may arise.

Phillip Carr-Gomm - What do Druids Believe, In the Grove of the Druids

Ross Nichols - The Book of Druidry

Emma Restall Orr - Principles of Druidry, Spirits of the Sacred Grove

I'm waiting on a few more to come thru from the library.

I live in Tasmania on the NW coast. From my experience in the last 20
years of being here, most pagans seem to keep very much to themselves.
I believe there is a wiccan group in Burnie but I am yet to hear of
any other Pagan/ Druid groups. Unfortunately there is still a fairly
strong anti- gay, non-christian, foreign, anything different, element
breeding here and it can make life interesting to say the least. Not
complaining though, I love it here. Just wish I could find a few like-
minded friends. In the mean time I look forward to meeting friends
from near and far.

Love to all
Eruanne

Hi Eruanne,

I think the Ross Nichols book was one of the first I had.
I lent it to someone and never got it back.
I do remember it being a fairly good book and keep meaning to get a
new copy.
I also have Emma Restall Orr's - Ritual, which I enjoyed.
The Druids, by Peter Berresford Ellis is another good book in the same
vein.

I have a number of friends who hail from Tasmania and the sentiments
you have shared have been their main reason for moving.
They do also share what a beautiful place it is and I would love to
come and visit one day.

I have images of beautiful rain forests that I would just love to trek
through.
