Assuming you're not going to delevel and delevel or PvP early on, I would put points into the stat that will help you level the best. In your case, that would probably be int. Wis might give you more mpr but you get a lot on this server and with items as it is.
This is what i did on my mage, i did 17con 17wis 18int to start, lvl up to 56 and hunt 5 elixirs, then use candle and restat 20con and 25wis, then delvl and relvl...by lv73 my mage will be max int, i plan to add dex after lv73 just for more hit bonus using thebe staff....
Do you need to delvl and relvl on mage? Not really, well you will end up with 100hp/200mp more than regular mage...not so much difference ya i know...but why did i do it, because mage is OP and effortless to delvl and relvl....from lv1-52 is baiscally done in one day
Started on C1 in an argentinian private x1 server (Gravedad Zero, great community with live meetings) around 2004 (the time where one would travel from TI to Gludin by boat or swimming + soe) until around C4-Interlude, from there on jumping on and off between servers until I arrived here on 2011 during the F2P Era. Dark Avenger since I red the class descriptions, eventually Treasure Hunter (did you know the name of the class is switched with Bounty Hunter, the dwarf class, but then in fixed in the 3rd class?) or Necromancer
5. you should refine "quit" word talking about my self only round 6 months i didnt open the L2 ...allthru I find more interesting Aden architecture then TV programs. Its also true i have many chars 85-99 and some 100-101. And finaly...there were only few days when i didnt log ....just for 5-10 min to check things up.
Started on Devianne back when shots weren't automated and you damn near got arthritis clicking them; back when making it just to level 10 took a few days; back when agro Trees scared the sh** out of everybody; back when players would regularly get PK'ed coming out of the serpentine tunnel from DE Village; back when you dropped items on death, especially that Cedar Staff that took you forever to save up enough adena to buy; back when you actually had to decide if you were going to spend money on shots or go without, because you couldn't afford to hunt with them all of the time and still afford other equipment; back when no one could afford to use teleports, so you ran everywhere; and if you did teleport to Gludio, your computer would likely lock up for several minutes because the lag was that bad; back when everyone's new best friend was either a dwarf crafter or a buffer/healer.
Hoho nice idea i think most ppl still playing are "old" players My jurney start 2006 on Teon (C2/C3 as i remember), funny time like 3 months farm to get 3 mill adena for D grade dagger some old players remember reeling/pumpking !
5. Played 2004 - 2006 as Healer (back when the healer was also the buffer), got really tired of the endless grinding for such little xp, and went to grad school, so I quit the game. Came back in 2013 and started all over because I didn't save my account in 2009.
5. Long break back in 05' to 2012, then I came back and played for about a year on the new bartz server. I tooke another long break and recently returned to chronos in January playing a rogue named Damphair.
As the title says I'm totally new to the game. I've quite some experience with MMOs but none with Lineage. It has been a game I've always wanted to play but never quite managed mainly due to lack of info and unreliable servers. This one looks very promising though. I've looked around a bit and found the compendium which seems to have most of the info a new player might need and I'm currently debating whether I should start with a knight or a wizard.
Welcome to the game and server! We've worked hard to provide a website that is competant and assist with new players, but we still have a ways to go! The community is great for helping new players, especially on discord. You can very easily learn the game and grind to level up to get to end game and start bossing very quickly. I'd say you could get to level 72+ in a couple of weeks which is about where you need to be to really start hunting endgame bosses.
Personally I think mage will be better to start.....you can make adena a lot easier than if you started with a knight...once you can afford better gear then you can start your knight or any other class you might like.
This is the most stable server you can get for Lineage1 atm. it is not too hard to learn the game but be careful of the amount of troll in-game. if you have questions, feel free to ask in discord as you can get more honor answer there.
just to warn you, Lineage is a VERY heavy grinding game. So it depend on what you mean by "reasonable timeframe". example: the very endgame weapon (fid), you need a team of high level and grinding the bosses for few months.
I agree with vicky here... be ready for time in game. Note you will be killed or at least attacked often in end game areas. End game gear can take months or hours depending on RNG. in over 700-800 items blown I still haven't made 1 of my armor pieces. In 5 weapons I finished a +10.... it's all just luck so remember that... If you feel like your luck isn't great then sell what you gather and just buy the gear you'd like or make a ton of medium +7-8 gear and trade for +9/10.
The important part is learning that you really don't have anyone to trust but your own "team" Every bp has spies every bp has trolls lol.... find some people you agree with, test their trust and stay with em lineage alliances flow. And always hit CripWalk bp 100% of the time. WELCOME TO THE SERVER! (Ps, feel free to ask for buffs in town to help you hunting... a lot of us will buff you =))
I would say it is pretty unrealistic for a new player to get to level 72 in a few weeks, just my opinion. I'll have to trust the comments above that say you can get good info on Discord as I don't/can't use discord and rely on the forum and global chat to find answers to questions. Players in game are often unresponsive to questions, unfortunately, so definitely go the Discord route.
After all, not all gamers want to play the latest chronicles with low rates, donates that are either inefficient or too expensive, etc. Due to lack of diversity private servers have become a proper alternative, offering a variety of deviations from the original game ideology of Lineage. Before we talk about it, we probably should enlist key definitions related to MMORPGs first.
Perhaps this is the most popular Lineage II server with a multiprof, although, unfortunately, the design and the speed could be better. L2 Multi is a set of servers that has been operating since 2013 and, like most Lineage 2 servers, it works without wipes. The key factor of L2 Multi strength is stability.
The server is mostly popular among players from the CIS countries, as opposed to EU players. It has a large number of additions, character and balance limitations, however also significant extras, e.g. the limit of buffs is 50+25 dances/songs, and 25 debuffs. Among the additions, the most interesting, in our opinion, are:
Buff, shop, teleport and other additional functions are available in the Alt+B panel. In the game you need to be careful with the choice of skills, as further on you will have to pay for cancellation with Adena (10 million for active skills, 25 million for passive skills). Although one can create a new character instead, yet levelling a character up becomes difficult at level 90 and up.
Euro-PvP server (actually a set of multiple servers) is acknowledged as one of the most stable Lineage 2 servers to date. The project has been active since 2013. Especially popular is the x100 server (Craft-PvP), which has an excellent economy.
User experience. If you are an ardent fan of Interlude chronicles, and the Craft-PvP server rates satisfy you, we recommend joining the next Euro PvP server opening. At the start, you get a small amount of money in the initial location. The buffer has limitations, while a VIP buff costs 12 Coins of Luck ($2.5) for 7 days. Not all NPC buffs will be available, so you have to be content with what you have or level up additional classes on a second account.
Reagents are available in the store, but it will be very difficult to kill the boss. Despite the resurrection of the boss every 3 hours, incredible clan battles take place here, with more than 300 characters at the same time. Only 7 people from the group that would have killed the boss, complete the task.
Servers, as well as the project website, support Russian, English and Korean languages. Accordingly, since the server is PvP, there is no craft system here. Everything is available in the store, up to and including S84, as well as enchanting and attributes for Adena. Skill enchantment books are bought for silver mined in farm zones. A full set of buffs for Adena and some enchanted buffs (for subscription) is also available. You can also purchase quest items for gold (donate currency: 1 Euro = 65 coins). It is worth noting that you can obtain coins in small quantities by gaming too.
In the game, you appear at level 1 in Dion near the GG, near which you can see chickens for farming. Killing only 1 chicken, you become level 85, buy a starter kit and go to the farm location. You can perform additional quests, but there is no special meaning in them. In order for you to be able to prove yourself at least a little, you will have to farm or donate a lot.
The first server from the E-Global team in 2020 is the traditional Interlude Final, or rather Interlude Rework. The server works with wipes, i.e. there are no mergers of old and new environments. E-Global, though, is especially popular among players from EU countries.
Despite the fact that rates are indicated as x1, the rate system has a dynamic structure here. Thus, even in terms of the 1st stage, players will play with x1 rates, yet not at all levels. They will have a higher value and decrease up to x1 as the character is levelled up. And when you reach the maximum level for Interlude chronicles, gaining an experience continues and the character level rises, but with x0.1 rates.
