Radio Nowhere is an escape room where you investigate a murder in a radio station. Players search the recording booth for clues hidden in notes, cassette tapes, databases, and mobile phones, while roleplaying as disc jockeys putting on 80s tunes and improvising news segments.

Once we entered the room, a non-diegetic voiceover played from the speakers, describing how we (the players) had arrived in the radio station to discover a murder had been committed, but understood that the show must go on while we conducted our investigation.

The first puzzle was more straightforward: identify the victim via items discovered on their person and clues in the environment (e.g. ID card, mobile phone, a torn jacket, etc.). We had a whiteboard to keep track of our theories:

The cleaning included sawing the body into small pieces and carrying it out in plastic bags. Obviously, the players could not do this to the person who was lying in a puddle of fake blood and pretending to be a corpse. To simulate the process, the designers had placed some logs in the apartment. The players sawed the logs and carried the pieces out in the bags to get a physical feeling of what the characters were doing.

i'm fairly new to the game and i keep getting 1 tapped out of nowhere from people with 2k-3k hours and more. never saw someone killing me with like 200h or something. Same stuff happens when i do a scav run, cant survive for poo so i cant get good money... (I know its ''part of tarkov''....)

Hi Gerosar, I totally understand what your going through my first ever raids were very unsuccessful due to being domed from know-where. Over time I started to understand why it was often happening and how I was able to minimize such events. There are a few things that you'll find helps straight away, but most of my skills i've learnt overtime just playing raids. First of all the maps that you'll find most challenging due to this nature would be starting with Shoreline. This map sucks because some spawns really put you in a horrible position from PMCS, but this is also the other way around it could give you the drop on other players. Lighthouse is even worse, if a player has a sniper and spawns near the big shacks up the hill you could easily snipe players who've spawned and ran to the highway (ive done this many times). The best maps I suggest you run are easily reserve and interchange. Customs is also good you've just got to know what areas are hot spots. Reserve is one of the best maps from being shot from know-where due to the maps design. The only risk is of snipers from the Dome so its just being quick moving from A to B usually running in ZigZags if necessary, though I have been playing Reserve all through this wipe and haven't been shot from there yet. Because the map has a bunker with worthy loot PMCs often flock underground most of the time, the other half loot in buildings since most spawns place you in a building or close to one. Interchange your mostly inside close quarters which means you are usually able to hear your enemy pmc before they engage with you as long as your not in the open of IDEA. So basically 1. play maps that are less based in the open (excluding Woods). 2. learn routes that avoid being out in the open for too long if you work on one specific map like Reserve you learn where the common spots are to be sniped, where pmcs spawn and could be hiding. 3. Don't run anywhere you dont have to always walk or even slow walk when in a building, running is loud and suppresses any other noises like footsteps or aiming in greatly to yourself. 4. if caught in the open really exaggerate the ZigZag movement, maybe throw in a jump be unpredictable with your movements. My username is getDOMED we could play a raid sometime and I could help you learn and give you some tips.

With their mandated quarantines, Los Angeles, New York, and other large cities had effectively become prisons for millions. Those who dared to go out often became embroiled in conflict. Their movements might be traced and recorded. If they didn't comply with official guidelines, they might be refused service or even charged with crimes. Many fled the cities in search of a safer way of life, but no place on earth was unaffected by the upheaval. In November the New York Post reported, "The escape from New York is fueled not only by coronavirus concerns, but economic worries, school chaos, and rising crime."

The Post reporter wasn't the only one who saw the mass dissatisfaction and struggle as a search for escape. In the midst of this unprecedented year, the artist XVALA was reminded of the films Escape from New York and Escape from L.A. by director John Carpenter. He describes the origin of his idea: "During lockdown, I would watch streamed movies and then look at the news and see all the rioting, looting, and burning in cities like New York and Los Angeles. It was a convergence of science fiction from the past with real life in the present to send a warning about our future." He recognized an opportunity to tell the story of 2020 through the lens of the films and immediately began bringing his vision to the canvas.

This is a walkthrough for Level 8 of Spotlight X Room escape - Nowhere Higher, the third level in Chapter 2. You made it past the electrified gate in Level 7 and now find yourself in an attic space of the house.

Tap to collect the water bottle from the desk. Tap to open the top right drawer and then collect a Paper. You can also collect a Knife that is hidden just behind the hint button on the top left.

Tap on the lower right of the initial scene where you see a glow to view a hot plate / burner and a toaster. If you have connected power above then the toaster will be on. Tap the button to turn on the burner.

When these escapes would happen, the Ben Rath staff would go crazy with worry trying to find them. In the past, the staff only had a couple of options. They could either sedate residents who were trying to escape, or they could lock them up.

They were brainstorming for a better way to deal with the problem when someone suggested making a fake bus stop. The local government agreed to help and provided an identical bus stop right in front of the Ben Rath nursing home. It had the same colors, benches, and bus schedules. Naturally, the first thing that happened was local neighbors began to wait at the bus stop until a staff member would notice and tell them the bus stop was fake.

The average age of residents at Ben Rath is 84, and many of them have dementia. One day one of the women thought she was a little girl, and she demanded to see her mother. The staff tried to calm her down, but she was insistent. The staff led her out to the bus stop and asked her to wait. A nurse sat with her, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air while waiting for the bus. After a little while, the elderly woman forgot what she was waiting for, and the nurse convinced her to come back inside for some tea.

The fake bus stop now gets used every few days by patients who demand to leave. They are often guided there by staff or by patients who have escaped before, and the first thing they see is the bus stop. It has been so successful that it has spread to other nursing homes around Germany.
