hmmm @Nike should have made the business model was that you could only get a pair in Fortnite if you owned them in real life......then that would be cool.

hmm .... if they can flog crypto-kitties, why not digital footware (all in the general trend of dematerialisation). However controlling scarcity (and thus bragging-value) is going to be a headache (unless it becomes a perishable fashion good.

Not cool for advertisers. Most clothes you buy has an advertisement on it. You pay for it, not advertisers. But virtual characters do not buy clothes.
