Hi Trevor.

It's civil from the sixties.
No Pratts. But there was something quite unique bout the engines...

Not American comrade.
This machine is on SP but nothing secret about it. Well known to you.
Wiki says 8 built.
It did enter service.

Oh, dear!!  Mental block on my part I didn't look at Beriev 'coz "they only make flying-boats" don't they?  No DOH 🤔

It is/was the Beriev Be-30 (32) innit!

It is indeed.
The prototype had the turboprops "connected" in the event of an engine failure. I doubt the production aircraft had this feature installed.
