Dear All
The other week Piers and I went to IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) Conference in Brighton. Some of you have asked about how we got on. For fun, here’s my account … (it’s in Japanese, but don’t worry, there are subtitles …).

Yoko and Sumiyo are excellent TSW teachers, I remember well their lessons, unfortunately for me my schedule and commitments did not allow me to progress further. I remember well your personal efforts, willingness, commitment and above and beyond personal time spent expanding , exploring areas not covered in class, immersing yourself in uncovered territories. My hindsight reflection: a student must want to commit himself to explore a new and different world, together with the assistance of specialized SW teachers a future goal in mind will help and any and all students will have the ability to reach all ends of the world.
