HelloUp until the last update Google did that changed the Google App look I don't know how but my powerview Shade Scenes fell out. I put them back in and synced device tested scenes and They all worked. The next day they fell out again. I put them all back (there's 43 scenes) and Theo are all there Theo work in the powerview app but won't work in Google Commands anymore but work in Alexa.

I've tried and tried but same message. Powerview said They got the same message and asked me to contact Google and let them know the link is not working. Google can't read any of these 8f you can't connect the two

Hi Juni. Do you have any feedback on the link between powerview and google home. The link is broken. Powerview said to contact Google because they have been trying as well. They said since there was a Google update it has been like that. It makes it difficult for me to operate Powerview. Please help Juni. Powerview said if we are able to get it fixed to let them know. I had 2 Supervisors look into it and both said they are getting the same error.

Hi Juni, here is a small video REDACTED, let me know if there is a better way to upload the video. This video shows what Jbeverly01 was describing. Here's the steps I followed:

1. Go to PowerView Scenes app

2. Go to "More"

3. Go to "Integrations"

4. Go to "Google Assistant"

5. Hit "View Action".

6. It used to work and set up the action for you, but now it brings you to a broken link

I did attempt to re-link PowerView Scenes within Google Home but it just never persists after going through the process. Here's the process I went through:

1. Open Google Home app

2. Go to "Settings"

3. Go to "Works with Google"

4. Search for "PowerView Scenes"

5. Hit "Continue" to link an account to control PowerView Scenes

6. Login with your PowerView credentials and hit "Sign in"

7. Hit "Authorize" which should give Google permission to control powerview devices

8. It redirects you back to the settings screen in Google Home app. Click "Works with Google" again to confirm it was set up.

9. In my case, the power view scenes integration doesn't persist and it does not show up under the "Linked Services" section.

I have been stumped with this issue for a while now too. I've tried linking again via Google Home app and it just never sticks. It stopped working for me a while ago but I can't determine exactly when, but I see a number of posts saying it broke for them too. Mine was definitely working at one point.

Go to Integration and select google - you will see an error messasage the link is broken. The one for Alexa works. I contacted Powerview and they said ever since the last change from Google it has been that way for them as well and they cant fix it. They say a lot of customers has called and they told me to contact Google to because it was working up until the last change was made for them as well

Sadly no. I attempted to resolve it and still had no luck. Calling Hunter Douglas says it's a Google issue and Google says it's a Hunter Douglas issue. I've just had to accept that the integration won't work.

So, has anyone else had similar issues? If so, what was done to permanently resolve the issue. The HD people have been very responsive, but the problem does not seem to going away. In their current condition, I find the shades very unreliable, especially if you go away for any extended period of time (4+ days)

Hi, I am a fairly new user and I have a Vera Plus. I have just bought a Powerview Version 2 Hub to control my blinds. The hub is connected to the blinds and all works perfectly. I would like to integrate the Hub with my Vera Plus. I have installed the Powerview App on my Vera and now I am stuck. When I have done this before there is a little configuration, for example putting in the Hubs IP address in the Vera Powerview App setting but if I enter the Vera Powerview App there is no place to add anything. I have searched the internet and also the community pages and I cant find anything that helps. Please can anyone give me some direction?

I was not aware that there was a powerview app for the Vera. I attempted a search this morning and was unsuccessful. Not sure if its indicative of the Ezlo people withdrawing support for the Vera systems, or what, but my search for any apps to install resulted in the endless moving circle.

I currently control my 15 HD shades (2nd gen hub) via LUUP coding in individual Vera scenes. Shades open/close depending on various zwave sensors measuring light levels and temperatures, time of day, and season.

I was wondering what the other dealers have been doing to get creative with the Hunter Douglas Powerview Driver/Hub? Are you creating single blind "scenes" and then tying them to blind groups? Are you using the HD interface to create multiple blind scenes and then just listing those in C4? Are you using the 2 relay driver with the HD Powerview driver for binding?

That said, as it stands, I'd mainly stay away from the thing in general - Houselogix driver is excellent, but I've had more powerview bridges fail on me than projects I have them in....(or randomly delete scenes, randomly add blinds to scenes - even if they are in different rooms altogether (which technically isn't possible...) - all in the HUB/their own app mind you!)

About double that, but for powerview, no idea. The driver by houselogix AFAIK was made on comission from HD, so that might be a decent sign? Then again, the device's inconsistency may not - though even if the bridge changes, the blinds/motors/wireless itself seems to be pretty decent. So powerview as a whole may live well beyond the (current) bridge

I'm in the same boat... I have Powerview shades in the entire house and can only control them via scenes binded to different shade groups. For example, in the living room, I have 8 different windows, so my dealer set up a scene for ALL CLOSED and ALL OPEN and tied it to the up and down arrows under shades. He also set up a HALF WAY scene so he had to add another group, but that's where the system gets wacky because the windows can be ALL CLOSED and HALF WAY at the same time.

I've found that for programming purposes, it's easier to automate off of scenes from the powerview hub rather than the shades driver. But then the house gets out of sync because shades have closed or opened and C4 does not really know so I've started changing all of my programming to run scenes from the powerview hub rather than through the shades driver, and then i set the shade setpoint after so that C4 and the shades are in sync.

This is what I am running into as well. The Shades interface just seems clunky with how it has to be integrated into control4. I may stick with the scheduling inside the HD app and then just have one for whole house close and open in control4. Very disappointing when dropping that kind of coin on HD and the lack of integration that they commissioned out.

what I was told when I had my system installed is that for control of each shade individully, the only way is with the platinum bridge. HD has replaced that though with the PowerView hub. And HD is only c4 compatible via scenes.

Your Lutron shades likely cost more, and had individual control. You are now integrating a product that only has scenes and trying to do something that the current drivers were never intended to do. This should have been explained to you by whomever sold you the shades.

You cannot compare the two as far as integration. I haven't seen any consistency issues when using just the HD app. HD also sells hardwired shades which I have never seen have an issue but you get what you pay for.

You're correct, the Lutron shades were a lot more expensive. I guess the issue really comes down to the dealer representation. My HD dealer is pretty clueless about integration. They are more of a "shades" store rather than a C4 store. I wish being a HD partner meant being more informed because I would have rather paid more money for an inferior product. The HD representative seemed pretty firm on integration, but I did not check or verify to what degree. You can control each shade independently within the HD app as long as you're on the same network as the hub, but C4 wise, all you can do is control scenes.
