Some people have noticed that when you open again in Word 2007 a file
that you had been processing before with SILAS, (perhaps to add some
more pictures), Word doesn't want to allow the macros to run, because
they come from Silas.dot, which is in "C:\My Paratext Projects", and
that is not a "trusted location".
I have documented in the Frequently Asked Questions file that is
distributed with SILAS a procedure for adding your Paratext settings
folder to the "trusted locations", but I fear some people will find
that too hard, particularly if the Pt settings are not in the default
place.
So I have drafted changes that will put Silas.dot in the normal folder
where Word puts user templates, so Word 2007 will accept its macros
automatically. (These changes are currently disabled, but a change to
a single variable will enable them.)
I would like to enable these changes for the release 2.208-1.06 due
out "soon". Any comments or objections?
