This week there will be two shabads recited and sung by Harpreet Kaur
and Updesh Kaur. Gaurav Singh will once again, continue to provoke
thought and curiosity with his wonderful katha.
Shabads to be recited are;
Harpreet Kaur: "Se Sanjog Karo Mere Pyaare" - (ang 743)
Updesh Kaur: "Tathi Vao Na Lagi Parbarahm Sarnai" - (ang 819)
Both shabads are written and composed by the 5th Nanak; Sri Guru Arjan
Dev Ji Maharaj.

The diwan yesterday was wonderful, things are coming along very well
and the sangat is growing (more elders are showing up than youth
though, something which needs to be addressed).
First i would humbly like to bring a few poinrts forward about
yesterday darbar. The mukh sevadaars which include the youth were not
informed of Bhai Parmjit Singh ji doing "katha", if they were, it was
on the day of the diwan. To my understanding, in the meeting, we were
told we'd have Bhai Parmjit Singh ji give us an explanation of the
hukamnama, which was not carried forth. Organization should be of
upmost importance when it comes to planning anything.
If we're telling parents not to ask if their child can do kirtan on
the day of the diwan, then that approach should be taken in every
case. Can we now refuse to have someone do kirtan or katha on the
spot? No we cant.
If we so proudly flaunt the term "youth", the youth need to be
informed first and foremost of what they want and what their needs
are. Many of the us youth spoke about what happened last night, and
were extremely confused, maybe we misunderstood something or maybe
we're blowing things out of proportion. But if im not mistaken, the
youth should made clear of everything, and if their is a
misunderstanding, it should be one of the top priorities for it to be
cleared up.
We need organization and focus, the youngsters are our number one
priority when it comes to this diwan, everyones elses needs should be
secondary. And i believe everyone would agree with me on that.
By this email im simply expressing what ive felt in my heart and wish
not to hide or holding anything back from my sisters and brothers. I
deeply apologize if ive said anything that may of hurt anyone, im a
murakh and i only speak with what little knowledge i have. If ive said
anything wrong, please do correct me.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
The youth are the sevadaars and the youth, to my understanding, should
be informed of what is taken place and when so we can organize
everything accordingly. If we have an idea and want to bring it forth
to the sangat, we should inform everyone. A collective consensus
should be made, that is my only request going forward.
Apologize if ive said anything wrong,

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
