Summer Camp 2009 — Sweden

The Council of European Jamaats has a few remaining spaces available on this year's Sweden Camps. There are separate camps for boys and girls running at the same time; at a campsite called Kärsögården. Activities for the campers include sports (such as beach volleyball, canoeing, soccer and basketball), outings, classes, debates and also teambuilding / recreational activities. The camp has run for over ten years in various forms, with a single objective of promoting excellence personally, educationally, spiritually and physically within a fun and Islamic environment. The camp will also benefit inshAllah from the presence of a Shaykh and a Mulyani; as well as first-aiders to ensure camper safety. In order to ensure the campers are well fed; the council has also

arranged for chefs from our own community to attend the camp to deliver an varied and healthy menu.

Dates: 23rd July - 2nd August 2009

Age: 11 - 16 Years

The camp costs £375 per camper; though this is a heavily subsidized price. Parents or benefactors who can make additional contributions are urged to do so. Given the few remaining spaces, places are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
