The program will start at 8:15 pm with Surah Yasin, followed by Namaaz. This will then be followed Dua Kumail, Marshia, Majlis, Mataam and Ziyarat Waritha. |

The month of Rajab is the 7th Islamic lunar month. It is one among the four Islamic Sacred months – the “Haram Months” – the other three months being Muharram, Zilqad and Zilhajj. The Prophet (s.a.w.w) is reported to have said: “Rajab is the Month of Allah, Shaban is my month and the month of Ramadan is the month of Muslims.” Being the month of Allah, Rajab enjoys the specific advantage of being the month in which Allah’s Mercy towards his creation is at its highest. Fasting, giving out in charity and asking for forgiveness from Allah ( ISTIGFAR) are highly recommended in this month. Our seventh Imam, Musa al Kazim (a.s) has said that Rajab is the name of a particular stream in paradise, the water of which is as pure as milk and as sweet as honey. Those who fast in this month will be invited to quench their thirst from the water of this stream on the day of Qiyamat. May Allah enable us all to become deserving of the bounties of this Month . · The SIJNY IT Sub-Committee, would like to thank the following individuals for their valuable time and assistance:
- Sr. Fahmida Aziz for designing the new e-mail template and the new SIJNY letterhead.

· The annual Madressa Picnic will be held on Sunday, June 28th, from 11 AM to 6 PM. The location for the picnic is Belmont State Park. Tickets for all children 3 and under will be free, for children ages 4—9, the price will be $5, and for children / adults of the age 10+, the ticket price will be $10. For senior citizens, ages 65+, tickets will be free as well. For directions please click here.
· Going forward, anyone wishing to present or speak at the center, during any of the events, will be required to fill out the “Presentation Form”, on our website. This will allow us to plan and co-ordinate the event accordingly in advance. Please click here, for the form.
