Fw: Questions about image recognition

Dear SIGVerse-users,

We are a group of researchers from TUAT and Stockholm University, now we will develop a emotional system using SIGVerse, our question is related with the possibility to use Images recognition in SIGverse, because one of de set of relevant data that we will use is from the emotion captured through human faces.
Is it possible capture an image through an external device like a Camera of 2 Mega Pixel?, and in the same time, we could send the data (previously prepared) to the SIGVerse tool?
The SIGVerse environment works with an avatar of the human, but with these avatar´s characteristics is impossible to extract a real face.
