SIGTYP 2024 Planning

Dear colleagues,

We are starting to plan SIGTYP 2024! The workshop proposals are due Sept, 1st. We need to provide our preferences on conferences we would like to be co-located with. The options are: EACL (hybrid;  Malta on March 17-22, 2024), NAACL (hybrid; Mexico City, Mexico on June 16-21, 2024), ACL (hybrid; mid July 2024), EMNLP (hybrid; TBA). Please vote for one of them using the Google Form: https://forms.gle/6pai8KrCY4VRNC5H9. Workshop timelines are provided at the bottom of the email.
You may also nominate keynote speakers!

SIGTYP 2024 Shared Task: We invite short shared task proposals. The proposals should contain the name of the task, a short description of the task setting, the task data, baselines, and the list of organizers. Please send them to sig...@gmail.com by Oct, 1st AoE. Workshop Timelines

* EACL 2024 (The 18th Conference of the European Chapter of the Association
   for Computational Linguistics) which will be a hybrid conference, and
   physically held in Malta on March 17-22, 2024.
 * NAACL 2024 (The 2024 Annual Conference of the North American Chapter of
   the Association for Computational Linguistics), which will be a hybrid
   conference, and physically held in Mexico City, Mexico on June 16-21,
   2024.
 * ACL 2024 (The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational
   Linguistics) which will be held as a hybrid conference, and physically
   held in Bangkok, Thailand.
 * EMNLP 2024 (The 2024 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language
   Processing) which will be held as a hybrid conference, with the physical
   location to be confirmed.
