Dear All,
SIGTYP has hit a record number of submissions. Once the shared task papers come in, we suspect it will be nearly triple last year's total submission count.
For that reason, we need more reviewers! The SIGYTP reviewing pool is skewed towards computational linguists, rather than natural language processors. In contrast to previous years, we received a lot of NLP papers that focus on using typological data or traditional NLP work on low-resource languages.
If you are comfortable reviewing, low-resource MT, low-resource parsing, NLP on typological diverse languages or a related area, it would be great if you could respond to Ekaterina and me so we can add you to the reviewing pool. We are trying to keep the reviewing load light.
Thanks,
--Ryan
