General Meeting Minutes Jan 30, 2023

Thanks to everyone who attended today's general meeting. Please find a short summary of discussions below.

- The general infrastructure has been discussed and the github structure is evaluated. Github issues will be monitored on a regular basis for offline resolution of issues. An automation of issue migrate to website news tab is planned. A new label will track updating and storing document repos.

- Code of conduct will be finalized.

- We will advertise our group on ACL List, Corpora list, and a new Twitter account will be created for public relations.

- Officer meetings will continue bi-weekly for infrastructure and bureaucratic planning. Research and organizational matters will be discussed over branched out meetings. General meetings open to the public continue monthly to invite new members and propose new ideas. The advertising will start after finalizing the code of conduct.

- A research meeting for the benchmark project will be immediately scheduled.

- A communication medium such as Slack or Element will be created. A poll over the pre-existing telegram groups will be carried out to make the decision which tool to use.
