Subject: SIGTURK Meeting Minutes 10/24/2022

Here are the minutes from today's meeting:
- We have decided to write a Code of Conduct (Duygu and Sardana). An
additional officer will help to ensure diverse opinions and will
follow up about the progress on a separate track. Anyone interested to
help is welcome.
- Updates on the website are planned to continue offline, again, on
separate tracks.
- A general invitation draft was prepared by Duygu in Turkish. It will
be translated to English, and later to Russian and shared on public
lists and among members to include more members to the community.
- We will hold elections to appoint the executive committee for 2023.
The elections will start December 1st, and continue until December
31st, 2022 and members will give feedback online during the voting
period. A president, a secretary and 4 officers will be elected.
Sardana will self-nominate to continue their duties as secretary, and
Duygu as the chair.
- The next SIGTURK meeting will take place on November 21st, 12 PM EST.
