Nominations for SIGTURK's officers elections for the year 2023

[SIGTURK Secretary]

Dear SIGTURK members,

We solicit nominations for SIGTURK elections for the next year's positions of a president, a secretary, and up to 4 other officers, constituting the Executive Committee. Members can nominate other members to eligible positions and/or can self-nominate by sending a message to our Google Group (https://groups.google.com/g/sigturk) or via sending an email to the secretary (sigturk....@gmail.com) until 1st of December 2022.

The President and the Secretary shall be members in good standing of the ACL (meaning that they should be ACL members). It is not mandatory to be an ACL members for other officers.

I would like to nominate the following for officer positions:

Mehmet Oguz Derin (myself), to become an officer to continue helping with Git integrations and traceability of input and output for optimization of collective contribution and continuity.

Mammad Hajili to become an officer to continue helping with the projects.

Jonne Sälevä to become an officer to help with the maintenance of the website.

Jamshidbek Mirzakhalov to become an officer to help with the organization.

Dear SIGTURK members,

On the yesterday's meeting we decided to skip elections this year because we had the number of nominations matching the number of available positions and we decided to appoint the nominated people to the positions.

Duygu Ataman will continue as the president.
Sardana Ivanova will continue as the secretary.

And four newly appointed officers are:
Mehmet Oguz Derin
Mammad Hajili
Jonne Sälevä
Jamshidbek Mirzakhalov
