BSNLP workshop

Dear members of SIGSLAV,

We would like to inform you that a proposal to co-locate the next edition of  the BSNLP workshop with EACL, ACL or EMNLP in 2017 has been submitted. EACL was indicated as the preferred venue since it is taking place in Europe.

We are also planning an exciting new shared task in this context on named entity recognition, lemmatisation and entity linking for Slavic languages.

ACL will be sending  out a survey in October to all ACL members, to estimate the potential interest in the proposed workshops among past attendees and participants of ACL-related events in general.  Based on this vote, workshops will be selected for the conferences.   We count on your support!

We can now confirm that BSNLP 2017 will be co-located with EAC 2017 and will take place either on 3 or 4 April.
