Tarzan ialah sebuah filem animasi keluaran Walt Disney yang ditayangkan di pawagam seluruh dunia oleh Buena Vista Pictures mulai 16 Jun 1999 (kecuali Malaysia yang tarikh tayangannya pada 17 Jun 1999).[1][2] Filem ke-37 dalam siri Senarai filem panggung animasi Disney ini berdasarkan cereka Tarzan of the Apes karya Edgar Rice Burroughs, dan satu-satunya adaptasi filem cetera utama dari francais Tarzan yang berbentuk animasi. Filem ini juga merupakan filem hit bona fide terakhir sebelum Disney mengalami kemerosotan pada awal 2002-an, iaitu kutipan kasar $171,091,819 di Amerika Syarikat dan $448,191,819 di seluruh dunia, mengatasi filem-filem klasik Disney sebelumnya iaitu Mulan dan Hercules. Sehingga kini, filem Disney ini adalah filem terakhir yang berasaskan watak cereka Tarzan yang memasuki pawagam, dan juga memegang rekod sebagai filem animasi Disney yang termahal pernah diterbit, iaitu melibatkan perbelanjaan sebanyak $150 juta, di samping juga menjadi filem cetera animasi Disney pertama yang menduduki tangga #1 semenjak filem Pocahontas. Inilah filem terakhir yang dihasilkan dalam zaman Disney Renaissance.
In 2013, Marsha dubbed the voice of Elsa in the Malaysian dub of Disney's Frozen[5][6] and sang the title track Bebaskan (Malay version of "Let It Go"),[7] the second Disney film dubbed in Malay for cinema release after Tarzan (1999).[8]

A version of the single performed by Glenn Close also appears on the soundtrack. The song is used in a scene when Tarzan's adoptive mother gorilla Kala sings that her baby should stop crying because she will protect her baby, and keep him safe and warm. She says everything will be fine and she tells him that "you will be in my heart always". Another version of this song is played near the end where Kala shows Tarzan his old house.
From its dramatic opening sequence, to its jubilant, high-five finale, Disney's "Tarzan" is, without question, a very entertaining re-telling of Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic tale of a helpless, human baby reared to adulthood, in the jungle, by a band of gorillas.
Featuring some excellent action sequences (mixed generously with moments of slapstick comedy and the excitement of adventure), 1999's "Tarzan" certainly turned out to be a mighty fine example of first-rate story-telling that actually tugged on this viewer's heartstrings, occasionally.
In this animated feature film, the lean and athletic Tarzan (as the story's hero) comes across as being a truly likable and endearing character.
Punctuated by songs (which seemed a bit out of place) from pop star, Phil Collins, "Tarzan" is still a delightful movie-experience that can definitely be enjoyed by all ages, young and old.
