Seatalk 1 on pi 5. Any news?

Hello. I wonder if anyone has a solution for reading Seatalk 1 on a pi 5 now pigpio doesn't work. I was doing it in Python with bb_serial_read_open() and I note that Signalk was doing a similar route.
