ABOUT SiPS:

IEEE Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS) is a major international forum for discussion of new technology progress and innovations in the design and implementation of signal processing systems. The focus is on emerging state-of-the-art signal processing systems (Cloud/Multimedia/Communications/Biosystems) and cutting-edge design platforms (VLSI/SoC/FPGA/Multicore/GPU) for current and future challenges in research and development. Proceedings will be published electronically and will be accessible on the IEEE Xplore Digital library.

Highlights of Program:
* Keynote speakers:
   - Prof. K. J. Ray Liu, Professor of University of Maryland, President of IEEE SP Society, Topic: Time-Reversal Paradigm for Green Wireless Communications
   - Prof. Matthew O’Donnell, Dean of College of Engineering, University of Washington, Topic: Where can signal processing and machine learning algorithms help automate diagnostic procedures in medical imaging?
   - Prof. Abhijit Chatterjee, Professor of Georgia Tech, Topic: Self-Aware Communication and Signal Processing Systems: Real-Time Adaptation to Power, Error Resilience and Workload Demands
* Special Sessions:
   - “Multimedia System Design Flow and Applications”
