GSoC: Proposal tips and format

Hello everybody,

I am a Phd candidate in Computer science, living in Germany, and I am interested in this project. I have been working a lot with GWT in the late years, in fact I consider it my framewok n° 1 The Apache Solr integration seems like a good project idea.

 I would to ask project members and contributors if they can give use the format and information that they would like to see present in the proposal (e.g outline), and also any other useful tips for drafting a proposal.
