The Mangrove Fund was established in 2007 in order to help existing
organizations and people who provide sustainable assistance and
support to impoverished Haitian communities. Their mission is to help
Haitians build better lives for themselves and their communities by
funding efforts and organizations that provide training, tools, and
support to the local population with the goal of achieving and
maintaining innovative and sustainable solutions to problems that are
endured in everyday rural life in Haiti, including lack of education,
poor community development, lack of sanitation, and poverty.
SightWorks worked with Weiden + Kennedy designer Erik Weeman to design
and develop the Mangrove Fund's first website. Together our goal was
to increase awareness of the organization and pro mot online
donations.
