Bungiehas already revealed pretty much every major update that you can expect next season, including exotic weapons and armor reworks and changes, some UI updates, raid exotic drop rates, and super updates.

Recently, Destiny 2 content creator, Aztecross, did extensive damage testing for all supers in the game. Thanks to that, we now have a full list of how much damage each super does in Destiny 2 before the big update drops with the launch of Season of the Deep.

Obviously, these numbers will change next week after the season 21 update goes live. You can check out the complete list of supers and ability tuning on the official blog post by Bungie. Also, if you want to watch all of this testing in action, you can watch the full 43-minute-long video from Aztecross below.

Dynamike is a Super Rare Brawler who has low health but a high damage output. He attacks by lobbing sticks of dynamite over obstacles that blow up and deal high damage in a medium radius. For his Super, he lobs a large barrel of dynamite that deals very high damage and knocks surviving enemies back in a large radius while also destroying obstacles. His first Gadget, Fidget Spinner, allows him to spin with a speed boost and rapidly fire sticks of dynamite in a large radius around himself. His second Gadget, Satchel Charge, makes Dynamike's next main attack stun enemies briefly. His first Star Power, Dyna-Jump, allows his attack, Super and Hypercharge to propel him over obstacles and Brawlers. His second Star Power, Demolition, allows his Super to deal more damage. His Hypercharge, Boomer, allows his Super to spawn multiple sticks of dynamite upon detonation in every direction that blow up and deal high damage in a small radius.

Dynamike lobs two sticks of dynamite over obstacles that blow up after 1 second, each dealing damage to any enemies caught in their 1.67-tile blast radius. The two sticks spread out a short distance from each other perpendicular to the direction of the throw as they travel, and they detonate simultaneously. If both sticks' explosions hit the enemy, the attack deals massive damage.

Dynamike lobs the big barrel of dynamite that he carries on his back. The bomb has the same range as his main attack, and after 1.3 seconds, it detonates and deals very high damage to enemies, knocks them back, and destroys cover in its 2.67-tile blast radius.

Dynamike rapidly fires a total of 20 sticks of dynamite within a 9 tile radius around him, each stick dealing 2400 damage upon detonation. He receives a 19% speed boost for 2 seconds, but is unable to attack while this Gadget is in effect. His Dyna-Jump Star Power doesn't affect this Gadget.

Dynamike's next attack stuns enemies hit by its explosion for 1.5 seconds. A Gadget symbol will glow above Dynamike's head signaling this Gadget's usage, as well as a glowing attack joystick. This Gadget's cooldown starts after this attack is shot.

Dynamike's main attack, Super, and Hypercharge can propel him into the air to jump a short distance opposite and away from the detonation point. He can use this to jump over obstacles and Brawlers. His Super propels him further than his attack when detonated. While in the air, Dynamike is completely immune to all damage besides status effects and damage applied over time.

When activated, Dynamike's Super spawns 8 smaller bombs in any direction upon detonation, similar to his Fidget Spinner Gadget, each dealing damage to any enemies caught in their blast radius. Dyna-Jump affects his Hypercharged super but not the smaller bombs that split from it. He also gains a 25% speed and damage boost, as well as a 5% shield boost.

Destiny 2 is a complex game with buffs, nerfs, and an ever-changing meta. And since Abilities and Supers are so strong, Subclasses are a crucial part of the game. With the right combination of Aspects, Fragments, and Exotics, the right Subclasses can take your game to the next level, allowing you to create some of the most powerful Hunter builds.

Gunslingers have been at the top of the Super damage pile for quite some time, and this has only been extended by the Season of the Wish buff to Celestial Nighthawk, turning your Golden Gun into a mini-nuke, capable of one-shotting any Champions, even in Grandmaster level content.

The only arguable downside to Gunslinger is its lack of mass add-clear and Major damage outside of using Gunpowder Gamble, which can be quite risky in harder content due to the self-damage. However, we believe that the positives vastly outweigh the negatives for Gunslinger, making it one of the best subclasses in the entire game.

Arcstrider went from arguably the worst subclass in the game to a brilliant ad-clearing and damage-dealing subclass with an engaging combat loop. Out of all of the Arc subclasses, Arcstrider has some of the easiest paths to Jolting enemies and becoming Amplified. The synergy of Combination Blow, Lethal Current, and Flow State makes Arcstrider ridiculously potent if you get a nice build going. Arcstrider is so strong that some players have even been able to speedrun Grandmaster Nightfalls solo.

However, Void Hunter does see a turn for the worse in raid settings. While the debuff from tether is very strong, many optimal teams will use Tractor Cannon and instead use a higher damage Super like Golden Gun or Gathering Storm.

Many claim that Strand is basically an improved version of Stasis, which is unfortunate as the Stasis kit can be quite fun. Exotics like Renewal Grasps and Fr0st-EE5 can massively improve your Duskfield Grenade game, and Mask of Bakris can provide a solid damage buff while also being fun to use.

Gunslinger in PvP is in an excellent spot right now as it boasts some of the strongest abilities and ability-altering exotics that can be used right now. Weighted Knife is still quite an easy skill shot to hit, letting you 1-shot anyone if you get a precision hit, and overall, the subclass simply feels very easy and fluid to play thanks to the On Your Mark Aspect and the burst of health from Healing Grenade.

Revenant has basically one thing going for it, and that is the Touch of Winter Duskfield Grenades. Thankfully, these can be extremely potent in the right hands and can secure kills with ease. Revenant also has access to a number of exotics that synergize nicely with the subclass, like Frostees or Mask of Bakris.

Where Revenant can be let down, though, is in the Super and melee. Silence and Squall is one of the worst shutdown supers in the game, as it has a ridiculously long cast time compared to options like Blade Barrage. The melee is somewhat pathetic in terms of damage, but it does have the utility of slowing targets.

Arcstrider is a solid subclass that can be devastating in skilled hands. Its tools like Amplified, Disorienting, and Arc Staff can be incredibly powerful. However, compared to other Hunter subclasses that offer abilities such as invisibility, freezing, or damage buffing, Arcstrider is lacking in that special "X factor."

Nevertheless, skilled players can still take advantage of Arcstrider's neutral game and powerful melee abilities. It's worth noting that there are no exotics that have massive synergies with Arcstrider, unlike other subclasses. As a result, it may not be the most popular choice for PvP players right now. However, don't be discouraged - with practice, dedication, and a willingness to learn, any subclass can be a viable option.

These are your standard archetypes known from many other games. But once you start the game, the system gets more interesting. You see, there are different elements that impact various aspects of the game:

Each Guardian class (Hunter, Warlock, and Titan) is equipped with multiple subclasses, each associated with one of the elemental damage types: Arc, Solar, Void, or Stasis.

Subclasses offer abilities and supers that align with their elemental type. For instance, Solar subclasses feature Solar-themed grenades, melees, and supers.

Many enemies in Destiny 2 are equipped with shields corresponding to elemental types such as Arc, Solar, or Void.

To efficiently break an enemy's shield, players should use weapons and abilities matching the shield's elemental type, ensuring maximum damage output.

Weapons in Destiny 2, including primary, special, and heavy types, can have elemental damage. Using a weapon with a matching elemental affinity is crucial for dealing optimal damage to shields.

Some weapons have kinetic or adaptive damage, lacking a specific elemental affinity. While effective against any shield type, they may deal less damage compared to matched elemental weapons.

PvE content in Destiny 2 encompasses activities where players face off against computer-controlled enemies, typically working cooperatively in fireteams to complete various objectives. This includes story missions, strikes, raids, Nightfall strikes, dungeons, and various seasonal or expansion-specific activities. PvE challenges often require a mix of sustained damage output, crowd control, and team coordination to overcome powerful AI opponents and achieve mission objectives. Subclasses that excel in PvE are often those with strong area-of-effect (AoE) abilities, potent super abilities for clearing enemies, and support capabilities to enhance team survivability and damage output.

The following tier list provides a concise breakdown of the most effective subclasses for player versus player engagements, taking into account their abilities, supers, and overall performance. Keep in mind that individual playstyles and preferences may influence the effectiveness of each subclass.
