I have problem with IDM. When I download file by IDM, after I press "Pause" or "Cancel", then IDM pause but status of cFosSpeed still load and Internet slower. I must set Network type: "Untrusted" in a time in Firewall of Bitdefender or change my IP address to solve it.

Hello, look with a tool like TCPView times whether the IDM to connect to the status of "Fin Wait" has. I think that BitDefender namely preventing the server receives a stop signal and therefore the download keeps running. Little by little so clogged your data line. Is an old problem that has occurred in the massive release 2011th Google time after "Ghost BitDefender Traffic."
Needn't restart your computer. Go to this website -us/sysinte...s/bb897437.aspx and download tool TCPView. Whenever that issue occur by IDM, you run it and see column "State", right-click, then choose "Close Connection" for all status "FIN_WAIT". Currently, only this way while they perhaps don't care this problem.
Now to the point. I'm using JDownloader 2 (but I've checked this also on JDownloader first gen) and I've noticed that even though I stopped my downloads, or they canceled themselves because of hosting service issue, I've still had all my bandwidth taken by JDowloader connections. It didn't changed even when I killed JDownloader process! The only way to stop this was to disable my wifi connection manually. THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN WHEN I UNINSTALL BITDEFENDER. I've spent all day trying to solve it but I failed.

Thank you for your answer. Yes I know about the update, and yes system is updated (I've chcecked twice to be sure) and rebooted bunch of times since then. Update didn't solve my problem. What I know now is that it's somehow connected to the case where people can't stop connections initiated by IDM (this is also a downloader). It's the same situation only that I use JDownloader instead of IDM. Only manual "finish connection" in TCP View works for me as temporary fix. Please solve this issue as it was all good in BIS 2012 (version without updates) and now it's broken and it's really annoying to launch a second app just to close connections. It shouldn't be so hard to fix as you probably can revert something to the way it was in BIS 2012 right?
i have a problem with internet download manager and free download manager. when i download a file and pause or stop it the network connection still downloading . this downloading continue untill the size of download file if i dont pause it !!!!
it uses my bandwitch until i block the idm or fdm from firewall settings. i have this problem with 2012 and 2013 version . when i uninstall the bitdefender dont have problem but when install bitdefender again the problem exist.
i send a ticket for technical team and they said me bitdefender does not compatible with idm and fdm . uninstall it and use another download manager software !!! bitdefender has problem with the feathure of idm named advanced browser integration .
We payed for an anti virus which behaves like a virus! I would understand if a fix would take a week or two, but come on... we even don't know if anyone is working on resolving this issue (probably not).

To provide a better user experience even during peak usage periods, we conduct rigorous load testing. By simulating scenarios of high traffic (for example, by running remote execution jobs using dnf -update command), we can identify potential weaknesses and address them proactively.
Performance tuning is an ongoing process, where we fine-tune configurations and parameters to achieve optimal performance. For example, in order to recommend Puma tunings (Puma is a Ruby application server used by Satellite), we tested different values of the threads_min and threads_max of the tunables. After spending weeks on this kind of testing with different parameters, we found that setting the minimum Puma threads to 16 resulted in about 12% less memory usage as compared to setting it to threads_min=0. This is just one example taken from the Red Hat Satellite Tuning Guide.
With every release, we scale the number of clients connected to the Satellite server to test the performance of its features. For example, in the latest testing release cycle, we scaled the server to manage 48k clients/hosts. This means there were more than 48k clients/hosts registered with the Satellite server with no external capsules. The goal of this testing was to see how Red Hat Satellite 6.14 behaves under pressure by putting it under load on Satellite and executing remote execution jobs on those content hosts. We discovered that in this setup, 95% of Satellite work is keeping up with maintaining regular hosts, and only 5% remains for remote execution (ReX). Overall, Satellite behaved very well without any external capsules.
Registration on 6.12 seems to be slightly faster than on 6.11. At the same time, more registrations in the batch fail, so registration being faster might be just a consequence of Satellite having more resources due to more failed registrations.
Continuous performance testing (CPT) has a myriad of benefits, such as verifying that Satellite features are performing properly before they are released. Moreover, by running the tests automatically and frequently, we create a quick feedback loop so engineers are aware of possible performance regressions.
CPT can also validate Satellite's code in continuous deployment pipelines to help avoid performance regressions. The goal of CPT is to spot problems early and fix them before they affect users or customers.
The performance team analyzes CPT results to get an idea about the performance of a specific version of Satellite and reformulate accordingly. We run CPT jobs using Jenkins and then upload the results to OpenSearch which we use for visualization purposes. For example, this screenshot shows the results obtained from the different test runs from three different versions of Satellite: 6.12, 6.13 and 6.14.
