how about we make ourselves a sighlinux distro? (No, I don't have that much free time on my hands, but I've been kicking this idea around in my head for a while now.. a full minute or two.)
Now when I say distro, I'm not saying we go the LFS way, that'd be too time consuming. What I purpose is to write a script that sets up "sighlinux" on top of a vanilla ubuntu/debian install.

Why? To automatically get and install everything we -muslims/programmers/geeks/arabs/artests- usualy install by hand. The script perpose isn't mearely cosmetic + install bloat-ware, it'll in-fact remove the useless junk that comes with ubuntu (banshee, social media, ...etc).

Did I just hear a 'meh'?
Okay then. let's imagine for the rest of the email that you ARE interested, what would you, anxious, like to see in such a destro? (aside of a DE consisting of only a watch)

BTW, This is an open discussion.

PS: I think I might need to re-install my os soon.

Some of the things I think would make it great:
- No mozilla, or at least kept at a minimum
- vanilla chromium with all the necessary plugins installed and enabled by default
- Humanized encryption and signing (right-click signing and verification), auto-email signing/encryption with a common email interface
- sigh.asia rolling repo enabled by default
- development tools installed by default: clang, valgrind, gdb, ...
- contacts syncing (GNOME3 should be able to do that)
- use-existing-terminal shotcut set up by default
