[Project Gathering] goals and structure discussion

I think the main goal for this group is to provide a place for
Arab(others are more than welcome) software and hardware developers to
discuss there interests, meet other like minded people, read decent
update documentation, and most importantly publish their work.
We need to keep a very high stranded (except for the blog aggregator
through which decent to excellent technical blog would be allowed)
WITHOUT placing restrictions on participating members.
As for software publishing, software for any platform will be excepted
provided that it does what it should do. Software may be open source or
closed source (but free). We will need to test every application
submitted before adding it the repository.
Documentation related to software gets outdated very quickly. Therefor,
a system for managing documentation maintained by this group is crucial.
Writing documentation on blogs is just not practical. Blogs should be
for personal experiences, observations, and logging.
What other goals or activities should this group be involved in?
Feel free to disagree or add to this or descus an aspect of it in detail.
