iArts - A digital interactive arts initiative
Western Australian digital media producers are invited to collaborate
with artists, arts organisations, designers and musicians to create
content for ABC television and online platforms through a new joint
initiative funded by the ABC, ScreenWest and the Department of
Culture and the Arts.
Interested producers and artists have the opportunity to attend a
roadshow with representatives of ABC TV, the Department of Culture and
the Arts and ScreenWest to learn more about that the ABC are looking
for and to meet practitioners to collaborate with.
The Roadshow will be held with on June 10, 2008 at the Art Gallery of
Western Australia’s theatrette (see details below).
There will be an opportunity for artists, arts organisations and
digital media producers to meet potential partners at this event as
well as an information session to provide further details on this new
initiative.
After the Roadshow there will be an event of facilitated meetings
between digital producers and artists. Please RSVP to this event.
Applications for iArts close on July 21, 2008 with successful projects
