Open Day

24th May is election day so forget that day.... what about the 31st? we should not hold it before election

My ideas

- Visit to hospital by players and committee -great idea, please speak to Puttinu so they organise

the day should run from 10am till late and to include

- the freeshot competition

- tournaments at various age groups - consider inviting other teams??

- masters game - consider inviting other team/s for a mini tournament

- fun run in siggiewi

- bike ride?

- massages offered by Arrigo

- involve Citadel so they have a stand selling/promoting insurance

- Remax - the same - Jeff what about giving an offer to whoever signs up with you on the day say with exclusive properties or who makes some sort of first contact with you?

- parade by scouts, lets involve them as they can help us with EU funds should we need in the project

- lets involve the band club with a march around the school

We will have bouncy castles, blood bank parked on the road, food stalls - proper ones say a maltese food stall, say a chinese food stall ( we need to borrow the wooden stalls that we used for the sports night and i think they are used in feast too - where can we get them from?)

Food and beverage stalls will be outside on the pavement

I think we should consider closing the night with talent show/local artist/ ghana festival as suggested and a street party...

We need to get these ideas together as we will need to organise a full programme and get the necessary permits

If all goes well we might use this to celebrate winning a cup or something :)

By next week we have to have all ideas and a preliminary programme

I sent an email to the school for the dates 

Meal

We are targeting to do a meal as a fundraiser - possible dates? Venues? We discussed a few so lets get some ideas/contacts

I spoke to a friend of mine - Saracino - we can maybe do the meal also at Cavalieri hotel - I asked him to give us a 1000 euros sponsor and we do a meal there....

Lottery

We need to start a lottery soon to run up until the open day. They need to be big prizes - i am contacting virtu or any agency, a weekend break in a hotel etc.... Anyone with a good contact for a nice prize please get forward

If we can get some say meal vouchers say for two - i will ask Saracino, but any other restaurant will be good, say Blue Creek, etc...

Jeff - can you pass the contact person to Joe so we get the access and ability to update with recent material

Anything i missed please advise...lets get working on these

Its important that we then sit down and speak about the nursery and the way ahead
