I called his girlfriend to check what's latest news, because I do not have Steve's mob and thought not to disturb Chris if he was unwell. She's actually taking all his calls.

 

They were just about to leave hospital and were having lunch together (even Steve was there).

She said he's been given medication and should be having a further consultation in April to confirm the diagnosis. I did not ask what the diagnosis is, as I felt not appropriate. But she said they were very well. She sounded upbeat and I told her to send our regards on behalf of the Club.

She really appreciated our thoughts and I asked her to get back to us if we could be of any assistance.

Let's hope he'll recover soon.
